The Kruger National Park is the main attraction for guests visiting Marloth Park and Jackalberry Ridge.

The Kruger Park borders on Marloth Park and is situated between the Malalane Gate and Crocodile Gate, approximately 15 minutes drive from Marloth Park on the R571.

Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve

Kwa Madwala Game Reserve offers, Elephant Safaris, Microlight Flights, Horse Back Safaris and Game drives into the Kruger as well.

Chimp Eden

Jane Goodall Institute

Experience the tranquility of Cussonia Nature Reserve, 2470 acres of secluded bushveld with majestic views over the Mpumalanga Lowveld. The reseerve's turn off is only 11km from Nelspruit on the Baberton Road (R40).

Chimp Eden rescues orphaned chimps and rehabilitate them, where they are kept in large, natural enclosures.

The nature reserve also features several game, including impala, kudu, bushbuck, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, and many more. Bird lovers can enjoy the call of over 150 bird species.

Mozambique

Atrip to Mozambique is just a must, since Jackalberry Ridge is so close to the border. Guests planning a day visit or even a stay over must remember to

pack the following items:

Guests need to be vigilant during their visit to Mozambique and always be aware of their surroundings.

Swaziland

On a visit to Swaziland, guests can experience the friendliness and hospitality of the Swazi-people. Remember to pack your valid passports and car registration papers. Guests will only be required to pay a road tax of R50 by either the Jeppe's Reef border gate (R570 road) or Managa border gate (R571 road).

Samora Machel Monument

The Samora Machel Monument in Mbuzini, near Komatipoort, marks the spot where the plane carrying the then-President of Mozambique crashed in 1986. It was declared a National Heritage Site in 2006.

The monument was inaugurated by Joaquim Chissano and Nelson Mandela on 19 January 1999. It incorporates some of the wreckage of the plane. Its central feature is 35 tubes of steel that create a wailing sound in the wind.

Directions:

Through Marloth Park Gate 2 and turn right on the N4. Turn left at Coopersdal turnoff. Continue straight until T-Junction, turn right. Go over the 4-way stop at Naas (Spar will be on the left), continue straight. Turn left at Hoyi/Mbuzini/Samora Machel sign. Go past Hoyi village on the right. Go through Mbangwane Village until you get to Mbuzini.

Leopard Creek Country Club

For all golf enthusiasts, Leopard Creek is the place to visit. It is situated on the R570 on the way to Malalane Kruger gate just outside the town of Malalane.
